| Tom Johnson was in
the sport of Track in school in his home town of DeRuyter NY. He
graduated and went to collage in Utica NY. one year then He enlisted
in the Army in 1966 went into the GreenBerets and served in Vietnam,
later he became a WO and returned to Vietnam as a chopper pilot
and participated in aerial flight and
Earned The Air Medal in 1970
He then earned The Army Commendation Medal in 1972 and later he
participated in the Home Coming Exercise, by being a personal escort
for a returning prisoner of war.
Returning to US he excelled in the ACE BOARD before being accepted
to the GOLDEN KNIGHTS where he earned several awards and has a place
in records as a part of the permanent and perpetual records by the
FAI headquarters in Paris , France. During his tour of duty he completed
5200 + jumps. He also earned First and Second Oak Leaf Clusters.
TJ died in a show in VA, the 15 of June 1980. May
he live always in our memories.
