Sergeant
Davis, a demonstration jumper for the Golden Knights, joined the
Army in 1955. He graduated from airborne train-ing in 1959 and the
following year was assigned to the 504th Airborne Infantry Regiment
in Germany, where he remained until 1962. Following a number of
stateside as-signments, he was sent to Vietnam in 1965 with the
famed 101st Airborne Division,
serving there for a year. He joined the Golden Knights in 1967.
Sergeant Davis, who has a degree in criminology from the Institute
of Applied Science and has attended the Blackstone School of Law,
is a fingerprint and ballistics technician as well as SCUBA instructor.
He holds the Combat Infantryman's Badge and the Army's master parachutist
wings.
