I went into the service in 1952.
WAS IN THE KOREAN WAR .
was in the 11th airborne at FT campbell,
then went to germany until 1957.
then came back to FT campbell ky, went to RANGER school in 1959. with RAY DUFFY.
went to KOREA in 1962 with JERRY KIDWELL.
came back to the USA was station at FT polk as a drill instructor, until 1964,
came to FT Benning as an RANGER instructor,
then went to the AIRBORNE Dept.
went TDY to Domican republic police action in july 65.
came to the team a ssgt E6.
work up to a SFC E 7,
WAS GOLD TEAM LEADER
went to the VIETNAM with the B co 173rd 503 inf bde.
then to team 142 MACV.
came back to FT Benning as a instructor volinteer to go back to Vietnam, with H Co 75th INF ( RANGER)
came back to FT Bragg to C troop 17 cav, DICK Harmon was my first SGT.stayed there until june 1973
RETIRED as PSG E-7
