Bullington, a mechanic in the Golden Knights' aviation section,
entered the Army in 1955. After a number of stateside assignments,
he was transferred in 1958 to the 937th Engineer Battalion Panama,
where he spent two years. He went from there to the 586th Signal
Bat-talion at Ft. Sheridan, III., going with it to France in 1962.
He returned within one year later. In 1965, still assigned to the
586th, he went to Vietnam. He spent a year in all in Vietnam, transferring
while there to the 41st Signal Battalion. A few months after his
return to the United States, he joined the Golden Knights. He holds
the Air Medal.
