It was there that I was fortunate to meet my soul mate, the love of my life, and my partner in all things, Jeff Averett. That's us in the photo to the left celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on October 22, 2007.
Jeff is an extraordinary person, and this website would not be what it is without all his contributions. As the Database Guru, he is responsible for the fabulous ability to maintain the profiles in the Roster, the ability to manage the site's many historical assets, the site's security and much more.
He has been unbelievably patient while I spent time developing the site. I can't thank him enough.
Meet the WebWizard
We live in Raleigh, NC and have two terrific children, Rachel and Logan, both students in college.
I have many interests, but one of the most enduring is photography. At least I love to take pictures. My nieces and nephews believed for years that my face was a camera. You can enlarge any photo on this page by clicking the image.
I love my family, my country, and the Golden Knights. It has been a great pleasure to work on this project. Thank you for the opportunity.
I am an Army brat. My Dad, Raymond "Rocky" Hudson, was Airborne all the way. First with the 101st in Fort Campbell, KY and then with the 82nd at Ft Bragg, NC. He was a casualty of the Vietnam War in 1966.
In my teens and early twenties I frequently hung out at drop zones watching the Golden Knights practice and compete. I was even fortunate enough to go to Nationals one year in Tahlequah, OK. I have never been around a more talented group of gentlemen.
